Ladies I know the idea of having a Hot Tub for a baby shower sounds great but it is probably not the best idea for your bump! I will explain using the best way I know how.
You may have come across the term Sous Vide, this is a way of cooking meat, fish and even vegetables perfectly with very little effort!
lets say you want to cook a nice juicy medium steak, what you do is sear the meat in a little olive oil in a griddle pan for a minute each side then place the meat into a vacuum bag and place in a Sous Vide bath set to 52ºc for about 45 minutes.
This produces the perfect cooked medium steak with that chargrill taste, it is a slow and precise way of cooking to perfection and is often utilised in high end restaurants. You can read more about Sous Vide here.

Children and Hot Tubs
Now think of baby as that steak in its own little bag cooking away at 40ºc !
Not the best for baby but you can dangle your feet in the hot tub and our Paris, Palm Springs and New York tubs have large walls which you can sit on, we suggest only taking a little dip in the hot tub of no more than 5 minutes, or just wait until baby comes along and take full advantage with a baby shower after arrival.
If you want children under 5 years old to use the hot tub then please speak with us first and we will give you some guidelines to keep everybody safe when using the hot tub.
Children should be supervised at all times when using our equipment and inflatable rings or any inflatable which is designed to be placed around the waste should not be used at all.
